INFORMATION
Unfortunately, it is a fact that many mothers and children from indigenous families worldwide receive very rare financial support from the government.
Many mothers rely on the security of their families, who struggle very hard to survive, as indigenous settlements have already been colonized and made dependent on industrial rules.
Often, single mothers from smaller families have to pay their rent and generate services like electricity and food without any assistance – this life is not geared towards self-sufficiency like in reservations of indigenous peoples in the rain forest, but has become completely dependent on money.
This situation is found worldwide. Verein Weltsicht aims to set a milestone with this commitment and take direct action on site.
Many women and affected children suffer from poverty, and being abandoned by their own family members and partners is often a sad reality.
A donation for indigenous mothers and children ensures direct HELP on the ground, and donations are invested directly in mothers for clothing and food or to support their livelihoods – we aim to provide an alternative form of basic support/social assistance and strengthen and support women in their communities.
The next milestones include establishing a self-sufficient settlement as a social hub in the region with its own organic farming for self-sufficiency, and a facility for necessary first aid/medical care.
Our next goal is to build a social village for women affected by violence or poverty, or women excluded from families with children.
Verein Weltsicht CH is the official contact point and guarantees a secure 100% allocation of donations. Money transfers for rent payments and food assistance are made directly through our local organization, with receipts archived.
Our current initiative focuses on the economically impoverished region of Acre, Brazil.
We are eager to expand our project with funding opportunities for actions benefiting indigenous mothers.
A center like this house, shown below, is planned to be established in the future as a healing center and resource hub for indigenous mothers, children, and families.
Commissioned by Verein Weltsicht Switzerland
The center is intended primarily as a social hub for mothers and their children. It will provide organic food, education on self-cultivation, and a biological seed exchange. Additionally, it will offer first aid services and function actively as a healing and retreat center with gentle eco-tourism.
Our focus lies on promoting healthy nutrition and providing training in communication and organic farming. There will be a small internal distribution system through Verein Weltsicht Switzerland.
Mothers and their children will have the option to settle around the center and actively participate, whether through natural healing practices, arts and crafts, or assisting in operations. We also aim to offer alternative day-care options for children alongside schooling.
